Lullaby

So, yeah. I am exhausted. Two band nights + one whole band DAY + 7:30 practices + junior year = DEATH FROM TIREDNESS.
Had to get up at seven this morning, after a football game (We creamed 'em, by the way, 55-7!) last night, to go to Webbstock this morning.
And all I can say is this: I am exhausted, I am tired, I am sunburnt, and my eyes and throat HURT.
But. It was SO. MUCH. FUN.
They set us loose about one, and we fluties tend to travel in packs. So it was me, Ricel, Jess, Ash, and Mary White all day, and for most of it Josh hung out with us.
XD
It was Ashley and I's personal mission to be mean all day. And he was mean right back!! It was great. You shoulda been there. Especially when we messed with his head and kept switching seats the whole way home without him noticing. We decided that he has to sit in front of us on the way to Florida.
Umm...
One of the uniform racks (taller than a person. And weighty) fell over and hit someone. One of the clarinets ended up in the hospital with a broken toe.
So, it was overall a good experience. I had two Dr. Pepper's. So did Ash. But she had a bag of cotton candy, too, and all I had were some chips. But we made Erin run away when we sung Kidnap the Sandy Claws. I don't know why. Maybe we're bad singers.
Anyways...
That was my Saturday. And tomorrow, I get to get up and do the rest of my homework!! Joy.

Deliver Us

So... I am meh. I read two Tsubasa, a couple chapters on Healer's Keep, and did all of my trig but the last problem. And now I'm kinda just sitting here...
Erin's fluffeh scene is brilliant.
Slide show in Anatomy was teh nasty.
I am now teh tired.
I wanna write not-KARAK but can't think of much.
Tomorrow is late start.
I had a point to writing this post that I cannot remember.
So, I'll leave now.

Miracle ~ Cascada

Catchy song. :D This is actually the first time since Friday afternoon I have listened to anything besides High School Musical, and the first time since yesterday it hasn't been Gotta Go My Own Way. ((I love that song.))
Sheesh. Busy weekend.
I did manage to study a bit for the Anatomy quiz. *sigh* Can I not have ONE DAY of peace...?
Went to the hospital again. Got to actually go into the NICU today to see the baby. SO. CUTE. He's losing his water weight ((which seems weird, 'cuz he was really mini to begin with - - he just weighs over three pounds right now)), and Brit's getting released either tomorrow night or Tuesday morning. It may be another few weeks for Brax.
Also, banana runts are GOOD. And it feels a lot later than eight o'clock.
Watched the actual High School Musical today - bout time, since I've already seen the second one. Was good.
And I got a little LED strobe light thingy at the store. They were having a 90% off sale - mostly crap, but I got it for seventy cents as opposed to seven bucks. :D The package says you can see it from a mile away, but I am convinced that they are dirty rotten liars.
SEVEN-THIRTY PRACTICE FROM NOW ON~

I Just Got Back...

...From the hospital!! My new little cousin (second cousin, officially), Braxton Grant, was born shortly before seven.
He's so~ little! He's five weeks premature. Brit had some problems that I won't even TRY to spell, but she's been in the hospital for a day or so, and they were serious enough that she had to have a C-section. But she's good, and Braxton's doing fine. We just got a brief look at him when they were taking him down to the NICU, and then peeking in the window of his room.
So happy birthday, Braxton!!

Only Hope

:D So. I don't have to carry textbooks after fourth hour right now.
We're reading Le Petit Prince in French (both the class AND the language) and The Crucible in Comm. Arts.
And Eagle Time is kewl.
And Mr. Claxton has jury duty, which means no Trig test tomorrow~! :D *is happy*

Stand in the Rain/ Beauty from Pain

Okay, not really sure what inspired it, but I got in a Babylon mood today. Yeah. Not sure why. Maybe not having homework is like, GOOD for the creative process.
Anyway.
I started some minor location research!! Mainly because I'm still kinda annoyed that I only had black and white film during our hotel stay.
But this is so kewl!!
Inside the Box... It's a tour thingy! You can click and drag and thus can look around the whole lobby! :D AMAZING!!
Uhh... Let's see what else...
The pool where Babylon was created!! In color!! with random people I don't know!!

And the Sweets Shop! They had lotsa ice cream. :D We sat at the table on the other end. Near the door. 'Cuz Kat freaked out when it opened. :D

And, finally for now, the bridge on the bottom floor! Inside, I might add. Prolly the same random people from the pool pic. Anyway, Kat, Ash, and I all sat at a little table across from this when working on our characters. While Jess and Erin where upstairs in the room. XD Whimps. WE had pretty scenery.

So, yeah. I wanna write on this now.

So, I found this intresting: my uncle's girlfriend's daughter's name is:
You prolly didn't guess it, but I'll tell you anyway. Bianca.

Your Guardian Angel

For the record, I am exceedingly pleased with Jessica and Katie right now.

What I've Done

Maximum Ride...
"...with an upcoming fourth being written for an April, 2008 release, entitled: Maximum Ride: The Last Global Warming Warning."
:D And a movie, set to come out in 2010 or 11!!
...O.o which seems a lot closer when you think it's only about two or three years away...
Uhh... Worked at the JHS concession stand today for two hours. That was fun. XD Erin, read that page in your notebook, the one about writing.
Went out to eat at the real-world equvalent of the Blue Crab. I was not pleased. Their french fries were awful today.
Nana and Papa came over. I was summoned from FFX-2 to make them cookies. Snickerdoodles!! And yesterday I read 'softened butter' as 'brown sugar' for some reason. ((I made them yesterday, too)) The butter made it in there too, but I added the brown sugar again today. It made them extra good!
Oreo's feeling better. He's in my room, which means he doesn't feel sick at all. *is happy*
Tomorrow I'm going to the library, and seeingif Mama will take me by Crown... *needs a new movie*
Also, I stole Mama's new Joplin sweater-thing. I LOVE it. It's made of that soft stuff that's really warm. It's big on me, but it keeps me nice and toasty. :D

Breaking the Habit

Issa good day. :D
Only bad thing is that poor Guppy's back's bothering him again, really bad.... Mama's off to get him some pain killers.
Meanwhile, I am sitting at her desk, drinking a Sonic slushie, and eating the delicious cheese-things-with-a-facy-Italian-name-I-can't-spell. Starts with a T. They're nummy!!
Decided that a 99% on the test today earned me a weekend without my history book. :D Only the second time in half a quarter I haven't brought it home.
Am now pretty confident that I'm doing semi-demi-decent in that class.
Also, it;s cold in my house. XD

For A Moment

So, I'm 98% sure I sucked at Mr. Reed's quiz today.
And I think I did good on the French quiz.

And I have Kez and Stausing's tests tomorrow. Slight panic.
And then I'm working Saturday. ((JESS ERIN AND BEENISH NEED TO REMEMBER THAT)) Seriously, working two hours seemed like a good idea at the time. Kinda kicking myself now.
Monday is the French test.
Tuesday is the Anatomy test.
There is a Trig test in there somewhere.
Wednesday, Castor is making us bring in our marching shoes.

GAH.

O.M.G.
I'm caught up on ID's!!!!!! They're all DONE!!!!
:D

On Top of the World

I only have 11 ID's left, and I'm caught up!! Amazingly astounding. Actually, I AM caught up - all I have left are the chapter six ones. And I'm reading chapter 6, too... I did a subsection during study hall today, and I'm working on one right now... Maybe I'll even be prepared for the test! *le gasp*
And then I shall study vocab for Stausing....
:D Maybe I'll do okay, after all.

Kidnap the Sandy Claws

...Any unpleasent realizations about Dimitri's unfortunate fate that I had a hand in are directly blamed on listening to this song. It inspires evil.

Zanarkand

*is avoiding homework*
:D

So, got Mugen Spiral 2 yesterday. And I can't say anything here, 'cuz only Ashy has read it. I *will* say that this shouldn't be the last manga. *sniff*
It came down to this or Wyvernhail, actually. And I think Daddy would rather have gotten Wyvernhail, even though it was five dollars more, just 'cuz it woulda taken me longer.
And I got more rock candy... and a box of sprees...
Yeah, kinda boring. XD

God Blessed the Broken Road

I'm a country girl. XD This song is by Carrie Underwood AND Rascal Flatts, though. That's like... uuber country. In a good way.
Anyways, went out to dinner with Mama and Daddy for their anniversary, and we stopped at Cracker Barrel on the way home. *had never been in there before*
So. They have CANDY.
They had the good rock candy I got way back when in Texas, too!! I didn't realize they sold that here. :D:D PURE CANE SUGAR ROCK CANDY CRYSTALS. LOVE.
Umm... got CLOSER to beating Evrae. Still lost, but got closer.
Did a few more ID's. I will NOT miss those things next year, for the record.
So... I think that we will be going to Cracker Barrel a lot more often now. They're only 99 cents, too!! Mama bought me two boxes, and one is sadly empty. And was 25% of my Daily Value of carbs, too.
I have no regrets.

Zanarkand

So. I redid my whole blog so that I could use my banner.
And so that it would be centered.
All I can say is, I REALLY like the banner.
And that Final Fantasy has become more constant in my life since school's started. Since I use it to avoid my homework, you know.
So yeah. Until I get tired of the banner, this is my new blog.
:D

For Your Eyes Only

This really doesn't seem like it should be a James Bond song.
It's intresting.

Colors of the Wind

So, Ashley called this morning, and in the space of sixty seconds we decided that I would go to the zoo with her family, had parental permission, and transportation decided.
:3
We went to the one in Gentry, with the petting zoo and kangeroos you can pet and such. There weren't any babies ((big disappointed 'aww' here)), and the lady at the front had me hoping there would be lion cubs. But, it was still awesome. We walked had lunch, then walked around for awhile (and listened to Ashley fawn over the tigers). Then we went into the open lemur cage and hung out with the monkeys for a bit. One of them LOVED Ash. Like, licking her face loved her. He also chewed on her hair. :3 It was funny. Then we left the monkies and she started holding a snake, and Courtney stayed four feet away from her at all times.
And we rode a camel!! Those things are STRONG. We were kinda wondering if we could both ride her, 'cuz together we weigh between 250-300 pounds. But the guy leading her said sure you can both get on! So we did. Her name was Jewel. Riding camels is kewl. We called it "research" for Babylon Book Two when they're in the outside desert-y place. There was a kind of rhythm to the camel rocking, and Ashy was dancing to it. And they're REALLY tall. Yeah. That was kewl.
Then came the drive-thorough part, which was slightly less kewl than last time, but only because they didn't have the little monkies that could get out of their cage and ride on your car. I loved those little guys. One slapped Kailey. But we threw bread out the window for the emu things ((actually, Ashley's sister had the van door open most of the trip)) and at one point there was a train of six camels following us, two of which had their head in the van (at the same time).
Then we went to the petting zoo, and hung out with the kangeroos. And we did NOT go in the goat place. ((This is the zoo my goataphobia started at, by the way)). We went back to the lemur/snake place.
Then we went home. And played hangman for awhile.
And when I got home, be amazed, for I DID some of my homework instead of putting it off more. I read a subsection and did part of my Trig. Be amazed at my un-procrastinator-ness.
And tomorrow is my grandma's party. ((Soap-opera side, for those curious, but it's been less dramatic lately.)) And I shall bring my two textbooks and stay inside with the excuse of doing homework most of the day, and no one will check, for no one could help me with said homework, and they will stay away because of it. :D Which means I could be doing anything. Like writing. Ah, writing, how I hath missed thee...
AND NO EARLY PRACTICE TUESDAY!!
Squee.

Sound the Bugle Now

Mareian looked up at her brother, "We won't have too, they'll find us." She then craned her head up at the even taller Jeran. "I feel like a midget."

Smirking, Khalyen asked, "Would you feel better if I put you up on my shoulders?"

"So you could run me into tree branches? No thanks."

"Would you prefer stilts?" Jeran quipped, grinning.

"How about I just take you out at the knees?"

"I'd still be taller than you."

"Oh, thank you, Sir Knight. Perhaps I'll take you out at the waist instead."

"Can you reach that high?"

"I could after I took out your knees."

My favorite Neopets quote, from the genius nimras23. Saved so I don't have to go looking for it. :D
Wow, three posts in one day. Record for me.

Angel

THAT DUMB FROG IS BACK AGAIN.
Which PROLLY wouldn't be that big a deal if my window wasn't TWENTY FREAKING FEET OFF THE GROUND. How did he get UP that high?
He is eating all the moths, though. And they were annoying me.
But STILL.

And my dad threw my MSSU acceptance letter away. -.-;; It had my student ID for my login to their internet on it and everything.
Sigh. My first acceptance letter, and he didn't even OPEN it to see if it was trash.
And now I don't have it.
ANNOYANCE.

1000 Words

So, yesterday was the first pep rally of the year. As usual, I was hyper. And Erin was hyper. And Ashy was pretty hyper, too. Not too much to say. Nothing new or intresting, but still fun.
Went home. Ate meatballs. Danced around singing "Tequila" to myself.
Went to the game. Had fun. New turf was weird. Scared the crap out of Liz by whispering "I'll eat your head too" in her ear. Yelled at boy flute. I think I might have hit him, too. Oh well. Team lost. It sucked.
Cator laughed at us, too. 'Cuz the new band bleachers are DIRECTLY BEHIND THE GOAL POST. He said that the woodwinds needed to pay attention to the game or they might be hit with the football. We were NOT, but still tensed everytime they tried to kick it through.
O.o There was a FROG on the round part of my window last night. He was just hanging there, eating the moths when they came too close. It was kinda weird.
Got up. Mom and I went for our first walk through the neighborhood. Well, actually we walked through Hidden Hills, but you get to it through our neighborhood. And the name doesn't lie. There was a BIG hill. We walked all the way down and all the way back up. We had to coax Georgie to get her to walk home. We've been home an hour and she's still recovering.
Need to do my history today. At least part of it.
Discovered that if Neo is crashing a game continually, he quits if you uninstall and reinstall it. I think he hates me.
No early practice Tuesday!! And a three day weekend!!
