One Goodbye

Just for the record, this song makes me cry. o.o
Umm... not too much to say here. Jess and Erin were over last night to help me test out my new Wii system... We watched X2 at some point, too...
Fourth of July was fun. Made fun of Spiderman with my cousin until fireworks.
Rani is back! Yay!
I now own all Lynn Kurland's romance books.
And I have decided that I am never going to beat Final Fantasy 10. I watched the ending on YouTube, and it sucks. Good thing that I'm halfway done with 10-2, and know that Tidus and Yunie get their happy ending. :)
Yeah... that's basically it.

Run baby run~

'Ello~
It's weird that June's almost over already. I'm kinda happy about it - Bippy gets to come home, the fourth is right around the corner, and we're one month closer to Breaking Dawn and the Twilight movie - but kinda sad too. As in, one less month of summer.
Actually, yesterday was the first official day of summer. Craziness. Winter doesn't begin until December 21st. Also craziness.
Florida was nifty, but the trip was better with meh band amis. No Check Yes Juliet singalongs, no random bursting into the Lion Sleeps Tonight everywhere we went, no Disney, no James/Firstborn terrorizing Ricel, no overcrowded buses and fighting Shirley for overhead space...
So, Kailey totally left my Eclipse in Florida. She refuses to admit she did it, but it was in her posession, and it did not make it home.
I was, how you say, rather mad?
But Mama bought me a new one today, because she loves me. :) And it's the Special Edition, too. So I gets a Breaking Dawn poster (And I still have my old Eclipse jacket, so the book isn't naked), AND Team Edward and Team Jacob t-shirt iron-ons. Pretty sweet. :)
And I THINK I might have gotten Kat obsessed with a new internet game. Maybe.

Friday, June 6, 2008

So, yeah. XD

Erin and I *may* Have been a bit hyper last post. Maybe. Possibly.
But Erin left I can think sanely(ish) again, and life is pretty good.
I misses me some Bippy, and meh Jessie is leaving today for the frigid North. I'm leaving in 18-ish hours for the sunny South~! Our condo has internet this time, so it'll almost be like I'm right here in Joplin anyways. :D
Dad got an iPod for an early Father's Day present (a way to keep him quiet in the car), and has, naturally, made me his technoslave. Minorly annoyed, but I knew that was coming.

AN IMPERITIVE WARNING.

Started out normal enough. Go for a walk; check out the neighborhood.
Then we saw the funeral pyre.
At this point, we figured it was probably sleepover hyper, the two glasses of Diet Wild Cherry Pepsi and the cup and a half of Kool-Aid. So we continued on our way, enjoying the clear skies. But we were on alert a bit more than before.
And then THIS caught our eyes.

Kinda looks like a crash landing, doesn't it?
We wondered what could have landed here. Surely, out in this area, they had to be friendly.
...or not.
Still, we thought we were just playing a game, something to pass the time. But everything snapped into perspective when something ELSE caught our attention.
The question is: phase two of what?
Also, conveniently near the phase II sign...
Just simple dirt mounds? Rocks? Gravel?
Eggs?
As we walked with considerable concern, we discussed the possibilities of what exactly it was that may have crashed here to lay their eggs. At this point, there were several more alarming factors. Similar mounds were spread throughout the neighborhood - some much larger than others. The irregular behavior of the neighbors was downright alarming - was terrifying. And finally? It was getting dark outside.
As we, hurriedly, headed for home, we happened to run into a couple of the irregularly behaving neighbors. Since we figured that as soon as the sun went down, they would shed their humanoid forms and wreak havoc on the neighborhood, we, with great wisdom, decided to get home before dark. Upon catching our eyes, the male alien smiled in a frighteningly pleasant manner and asked exactly where did we live?
Fortunately, our answer was nebulous, and we made it home with only ten minutes to spare.
The fate that may have awaited us if we had been a bit slower? It's your call.

Where You Are

Yeah. Totally bored. Can't decide what to write on. Thus playing on blog.
One more day of school, one more final, 'til summer!
13 days until I'm back in Florida!
No one's talking to me. I'm lonely.

Shadows and Regrets

It is ten thirty, April 30th.
I am DONE with the history book.
Like, all done. No more reading. It's all over.
And I placed at Foreign Language Day yesterday. And Rani wrote.
It is a good day.

I Told You So ~ Carrie Underwood

Know what I've noticed? School saps every extra second of our lives this year.
I mean, look at our reading rates. Or mine, at least. Last year, I was reading prolly 2-4 books a week, average. This year, I'm managing one every week or so. Also, I watch no TV, and play video games only rarely.
It's sad, really.
Umm... MAP testing sucked. Except I got fourish books done. Which was nice.
I put an extreme amount of effort into being lazy.
One of my current favorite song quotes: "Go ahead and tell your friends I'm obsessive and crazy; that's fine, I'll tell mine you're gay."
Despite the fact that half of the game of Casino is luck, I still manage to lose every single game I play.
Enchanted is a good movie.
Bridge to Terabithia should end BEFORE Jesse goes to the museum with Ms. Edmunds.
Fried chicken now goes under the name of 'fricken'. If you do not get the reference, you do not watch enough Friends.
The Twilight movie is going to own. Vampires TOTALLY pwn wimpy wizards - even if they DO have brooms.

IlumiNations

I highly, highly, HIGHLY suggest viewing these. It's the fireworks show. Not nearly as amazing as being there, of course, but it's gorgeous nonetheless. And it has the music to it, where my videos/pictures do not.
Part One
And Part Two

Spring Break: Pictures!

Set Number Two!
James being silly in the Asia section of Animal Kingdom. Lotsa pictures like this.
These were a really neat part of the scenery. There were a bunch of trees hung with stuff. The little plaque below it reads: "This Ancient Coral Tree is a place of veneration. Scarves and garlands are hung as offerings. Bells are representing prayers that have been answered." I thought they were highly nifty.
The Atlantic Ocean, as seen from Cocoa Beach! Weather was gorgeous. I talked to Kailey that day and she said it was cold and rainy back at home. :)
Our magnificent Sand Palace. We had 5-6 people working on it. After we were done, the Seagulls took over. Silly birds.
The famous view of Epcot Center! Gotta love the giant golf ball. I think this thing could demolish a city if it got picked up in a tornado or a hurricane. Maybe even a small state.

Spring Break: Pictures!

First set of MY pictures from the trip! Blogger has an insanely low picture limit. *grumble*
On the way to Disney World, we drove through the Smokey Mountains! Much much kewlness. I took a bunch of pictures, but, sadly, we were in a moving bus, and the awesomeness of them were much dimmed by trying to take pictures as such.
Disney's Hollywood Studio's main street! The big mansion in the background was the Tower of Terror. It had these windows that would open so you could see the elevator falling down the floors. You could hear the people screaming from quite far away. However, Jessica said the ride was a let down.
Scenery from inside the Animal Kingdom! Seriously amazing. The mountain in the background is the Mt. Everest ride. Looks pretty real, non? Ash said it was amazing.
More Animal Kingdom pictures. I took a bunch. This is in the Asia section, which was sheerly breathtaking. It was very, VERY green. Nice and shady.
The nifty tiger that came up to the glass. :) Ash took this picture, 'cuz she had my camera. Definitly one of the kewler parts of the zoo section.

SPRING BREAK

*prepares for insanely long blog post*
Alrighty! Here's a full write up, written to the best of my abilities. I hate to say this, but the week was so freaking busy that some of the stuff at the beginning feels like it happened on a different trip. But you all know plenty of band kids, and will probably hear a bunch of different stories.

Thursday night after school we had to go drop off our suitcases/uniforms/insturments with the band peoples. Nothing really eventful, except my mama owns and bought me books and candy on the way home. Nothing like sugar to help speed trips along!

Friday was one of those bright and early days when you're too spazzy to care about the time. Made it onto the busses with little incident. Jess and Erin managed to get behind Ash and me, naturally, with Jess's mom behind them. James usually haunted the spare seat next to her. Made for fun times. We drove a lot. Totally spazzy for a while. Bus was cold. Made it to Tenessee, bought prizes for bus games. Erin and James bought the first piece of their plastic arsenals at the dollar store. Stayed the night in a dingy little hotel room that had one lightbulb and a very, very tiny bathroom. It was great. We called Beenish twice; once as a prank during lunch when we told her Jess was in a coma due to a freak roller coaster accident in Kentucky, and the other time to tell her that Jess was bleeding from the head. Believe it or not, the second one was true. Long story that I gave James much crap about. :3

Left bright and early Saturday morning for another day of bus ridage. Made a stop for lunch. Nothing sticks out particularly in my memory, except Erin going totally whack-job stir-crazy toward the end of the ride. We arrived in Florida and eight or nine (Pacific time!) and got out, had to sit and listen to important band figure heads say the same thing over and over, then got to head to our room on the second floor. Naturally, it's about 85 degrees, even though the sun's gone down, and I could literally drink the air. Kicked myself for only packing one pair of shorts. Suprise suprise! Our room keys didn't work. Had to wait and get that sorted out, and thus I was pretty crabby by the time we met with other peoples for dinner. We went to the food court (our resort was HUGE. There was a gift store, too), bought $13 cups (everything is crazy expensive in Disney), and enjoyed dinner. Minor incident that ended in me requiring a borrowed pair of shorts from Ash the next morning.

Went to the parks! Started out in Hollywood Studios (MGM). Got a pair of shorts while mes amies went on the Tower of Terror ride (13 story drop. Jess said it was a let down.) We hung out there for a while. Wasn't TOO impressed. But after a while we ran back to the hotel and caught the Animal Kingdom bus. Animal Kingdom was AMAZING. Disney puts God only knows how much detail into their work. The park was divided into sections, and we spent most of the day in the Asia section, because it was gorgeous. They had 20-ft-tall bamboo all over the place, and really elegant architecture and scenery~ And the stores were great, too. Spent a ton of money I'll never see again. I have very few regrets. Sucked it up and bought a very expensive bag to carry my stuff in. I love it. We went through a little mini-zoo while in Asia, and got some truly amazing pictures of tigers. ((Will post soon.)) This one came up to the glass, stood on his hind legs and put a paw against the glass. He stayed there long enough for us to get good pictures. We stayed in Asia forever, but eventually headed over to the Africa section and did a few, not-much-movement-required things. We went on a safari. Got some kewl pictures again. I have a bunch of just scenery pictures. Inspired a new story. Was beautiful. Erin, Jess and I left early while Ash, James and Mrs. Johnson went on the Mt. Everest roller coaster. Had to stop in a store. Erin bought a Stitch plushie, and I went into debt for a baby Simba one. Erin called Stitch her firstborn the rest of the trip. I locked it in the safe at some point...

Monday morning we got up early again and got back on the charter buses and headed for Cocoa Beach. It was Ash's first time seeing the ocean, and my first time in the Atlantic. Water was semi-cold, but Erin and I played in the waves most of the day anyway. I taunted the ocean a lot, because the waves weren't that great. I'm not sure if it was when I called it a Whimp or when I told it that the Gulf of Mexico could do better than that when a big wave came and knocked my over. I got dragged like, ten feet underwater. It was amazing. We made a big Sand Palace, too. We being Erin, Ash, me, Mary, Jess, and James. Nicole helped too. Got bored eventually and went back to the water. Had to leave and go to Ron John's Surf Shop. OMG I spent so much money there. And none of it was on me! It took a rather sizeable chunk out of my credit card. Then we went out to lunch at Pizza Hut. Went back to the hotel and hung out for a while, then went to dinner at Living Waters, which is basically a restauraunt built around a huge aquarium. Ash and I had pretty bad sun burns by then~ Anyways, after that we wandered around Epcot Center for awhile, which is basically a big World Showcase. Jess and I spoke French a lot in France, and were stunned by the masks in Italy. Went to the Japan store and didn't come out forever. Ash and I got pwetty silk fans with our names on them in Japanese, and Jess got a paper one... But they had all kinds of stuff! Kimonos, katanas, lucky cats, chopsticks, food, bonsais, bamboo, wall posters, and a huge anime section. The park closed before we got to the last two or three countries, but the best part came AFTER it closed, anyway. Epcot has this fireworks display called Reflections of Earth, and I swear to God that it is one of the most amazing things I have seen in my entire life. After the park closed, they turned out all the lights but these big torches, and the intro to the fireworks show ended with the narrorator guy making a noise like he was blowing out a candle, and all of the torches went out. Then the music started. The fireworks were perfectly synces with the music, both of which were amazing by themselves. But there were also lights on all the major parts of the park that popped on, and a gigantic fireball, and a floating globe that had different pictured on it, which opened at the end and shot out more fireworks. That was probably my favorite thing on the trip. Definitly in the top two.

We went to Universal Studios the next day. Don't ask me too much about this one. I was sick and fell asleep against a wall at some point. I do know that Erin bought Wolverine Claws, which she wore for pretty much the next two days straight. When I woke up I saw someone walk by with a Shadow the Hedgehog plushie, and it became a mission to get one. I had to pay ten dollars, because it was a prize at a game and the lady made two people play. So Erin and James played, and I got my Shadow. *huggles* That made my life. Then we saw a magic show, went to a counterfeit money stand, where Jess and I got Celtic necklaces... And then we got to go to our suprise event. Which, by the way, OWNED. Seriously. If you get the chance to see the Blue Man Group ever, take it. I rarely laugh that hard. And the percussion was amazing, too~ But the best part was when they took Castor back stage, strung him up by his ankles and threw him into a board thingy. It was an amazing sense of satisfaction. We all pitched in and bought a DVD there, simply because the show was the only thing that rivaled the Epcot fireworks for best part of the trip. That took a couple hours, but it was totally worth it. One of the blue guys (they walk on top of the arm rests when they go into the audience) stoped on the armrest between me and Ash and had a hand on top of Ash's head to keep his balance. She and I were trading OMGOMGOMG Please Let Him Go Away looks the whole time. He did, eventually. It is the only show I have seen that gives the first few rows plastic ponchos to put over their clothes. They pour paint on top of the drums before they play. Make total messes.

Wednesday we got to actually sleep in, 'cuz we weren't allowed to leave the hotel until it was time for our parade. Shopped in the gift shop, and bought the soundtrack to the fireworks show. :3 *is listening to We Go On on repeat currently* Erin's funny "I dream of being a two-legged deer" quote comes in here. ANyway, morning was boring. Went backstage Disney to be the lead in the Magic Kingdom parade, which owned. It was hot, but the parade itself wasn't bad. Got free T-shirts out of the deal. After that we went back to Epcot and finished off the last few worlds, then went back to the resort to meet for the suprise event, which was a Luau at the Polynesian Resort. I took a freaking ton of pictures when the fire dancer came out. I also have a really good blackmail picture involving James and Josh slow dancing and wearing pink leis. Luau was great, though not as awesome as the Blue Man Group. After that, we got on the monorail and rode to Magic Kingdom. All of us but James rode the Dumbo ride. :3 You know, the one made for three-year-olds? Well, we screamed at the top of our lungs pretty much the whole time, and acted like we were racing. Erin freaked the guy running the ride out when she handed him the ticket wearing a red lei wrapped around her Wolvering claws. *She* says she lapped me and Ash three times, but she's crazy. We TOTALLY beat her and Jess.

It rained Thursday, which didn't matter, since we were leaving anyway. We made it to our lunch stop in Georgia before the other bus broke. At the time, we thought it was kewl because we got to stay in the nifty book store longer. Erin, Jess, and Ash all got hardback copies of Magic Study, library edition covers, for under three dollars, and Ash got Poison Study there too. Jess and I went searching for Lynn Kurland, but found none. It was sad. Eventually they made us get back on the busses to drive to a mechanic. We stopped there and got to go into Dairy Queen and the gas station, which was a mini souvenir shop. I bought a couple dream catchers there, 'cuz I love those things and they were cheap compared to Disney prices, before we went and had a meeting where they told us that it would be 3-4 hours before the bus was done. They took two trips to send us back to the little shopping mall we'd been at in the first place, and let us hang out there for a while. Went shopping at the Dollar Store and ended up sitting and hanging out in the shade in front of the Big Dog Store until they called us to the bus again, told us that it wouldn't be done until seven, and then drove us to the movie theater/mall, depending on where you went. They paid for the movie, but Jess and Ash and I wanted to go to the bookstore. In the end it turned into a race to see who could find Lynn Kurland's books first (Ash was well into loving Nicholas by this point, and Jess and I have both been dorks for a while). In the end, Jess got a Furuba and one of her books, I got three, and Ash got Nicholas and a Yurara. In the end we saw the newest Max Ride book, but no one had the money left to get it after our little excursion in the store. We hung out and talked to Rani for a bit, split up for dinner, 'cuz Ash and I wanted Chick-fil-a and Erin and Jess wanted Chinese, then Ash and I went shopping in FYE whle waitning for them to finish eating. THEY HAD FUSHIGI YUUGI DVDS. It was amazing. They also had a Mokona hat. But in the end I bought a speaker pillow for my iPod and a bunch of AirHeads. Met up with the band, which told us that the bus STILL wasn't done. Erin and I played in the photo booth for about half an hour. First round we got them done with Ash, second with just us, and James joined us for the third. Were bored forever, because the bus didn't get done until past nine. Got on bus, watched Pirates 3. Got off once at one in the morning when they switched drivers, then tried to sleep. Highly impossible.

Drove all morning this morning, stopping once for breakfast in Kentucky. They offered to stop for lkunch, but by then everyone just wanted to be back home. We got back to Joplin right around two. And I am about to pass out, considering I've had about eight hours of sleep in the past two days, and very grateful to be home.

It has taken almost an hour to type this, just for the record.
Hope you all had a great Spring Break! Happy Easter on Sunday for those who celebrate it!

DISNEY~!

:D
Sorry. I'm at the spazzy stage now.
So, our hotel is teh awesome. So is the weather while we're there. :3
Mommy got me another book and more candy. If I manage to teleport to Mars, know it's her fault.
I am so totally excited. I can't wait to go! It'll be so much fun!
And Kat and Taylor are leaving tomorrow too~ Poor Rani! All alone at home!
But she has Valek and Jamie to keep her company. :3
Okay. Un-coherenceness takes over. Gonna go bug Mom about whatever it was she got me for my trip. Bye!

Shadows and Regrets ~ Yellowcard

*yawns*
I'm REALLY tired...

Umm.... There's not too overmuch to say. Got 100 on my term paper for Kez, and a 91 on the quarter exam... That was nice. Not too terrified about my grade at the moment. Of course, when Movick checked for us, I had 189%. Jess had 235%.
We think he may have messed up the grade book. Possibly.
Monday starts the fourth quarter.... And that's really weird to think about. Junior year is almost over, thank God. But that also means we're gonna be seniors next year. O.o
We're OLD.

I watched Titanic last night, so I was playing the theme song in band this morning. Castor turns and says, "who was playing that?" and I kinda raise my hand... Then he picks up the top piece of sheet music on his podium, and lo and behold! Titanic.
It was funneh.

We're leaving in less than a week! Joy!

But packing is a lot of work. I just got my uniform and my bag of bathroom supplies ready tonight, and ran down the lists of what all I needed... I didn't get very far. Most of it is stuff I can't pack until Thursday night, right before we go, like my glasses and retainers and such. :D Also, Daddy is making me beef jerky to take with me. The house smells delicious.

I have discovered the powers of throwing all your energy into avoiding something. I helped make dinner tonight, then after dinner came upstairs, cleaned both gerbil cages, then cleaned my bathroom because the thought of whatever is in those cages on my floor freaks me out, then my bedroom, because I made a mess cleaning the cages. And then I had Dad bring the ladder upstairs, cleaned the ledge off, and put all the spare Beanie Babies that didn't have anywhere to be up there. And then some of my bigger stuffed animals that hadn't been unpacked. And my snowglobes. Then cleaned the closet, 'cuz I messed it up digging out the beanie babies. And THEN started packing. All because I *really* don't want to write tonight.
I'm pretty safe, since Rani isn't online. Currently. Watch her pop up as soon as I post this.

Fire Study was amazing. I will be sad if the series ends there, but it actually HAS a decent ending, if she wants to end it there.

I totally broke a little vial of perfume when I was cleaning the bathroom, and now I can't go in there or get my left hand too close to me, because it smells so bad. Even though I've scrubbed my hands pretty thoroughly.

I think that's really all I have to say...

All Again For You

Love this song. Love this band. Love this CD.
Music makes me happy. :3 I'm such a band nerd sometimes...
I TOTALLY finally beat Evrae today. I have been stuck there for FREAKING FOREVER. Like, almost a year forever. Totally had a spazz attack after I beat him too, 'cuz I knew there wasn't a save spot for a while. There were five or six little battles after that, and I healed every single character after each one, even if they were only missing 1 HP. And I didn't have any potions, so I had to use hi-potions. Which means more if you've ever played FF before.
O.O You know what's missing from this game? Moogles. Haven't seen a single one. Just realized this. Only Katie will get this. Totally ranting about something no one knows about.
Ignore me. I'm having a weird day.
I think I have actually drank too much caffiene today. I'm shaking and can't stop. Have been for several hours.
Guess that rules out my evening tea.
Darn.
Wow, I'm weird...

The Great Escape Acoustic ~ Boys Like Girls

Umm...
It's like... midnight....
I'm on a huge KARAK kick lately... Erin still has the Avranaida scene, so I couldn't write on that... So I worked on the Blonde Ranna scene for a while, wrote a crazy letter that only proves that Avari is a lazy spaz, drank tea even though I was already hyper 'cause Kat wanted to see how hyper she could get me before I killed someone, and wrote a much later scene featuring a couple of Avari and Kyudo's kids.
Which is when I realized that I have something about being mean to my characters.
I mean, I gave them BOYS. So now Av has two sons to raise in addition to raising Kyudo.
:D What can I say. She's a brave soul.
Umm....
WRITE ON KARAK.

Wake Up Call ~ Maroon 5

So.
I've been working a bit on this.
It's just tentative, kay?
And I'm absolutely clueless as to what we should put elsewhere.
So I need help there.

But we do, officially, have a website now. :3
Feel free to yell at me for its suckage.

Skyway Avenue ~ We the Kings

So, enrollment today.
BEENISH AND MRS. DAY CONSPIRED AGAINST ME.
They changed my schedule. TALKING OVER MY HEAD.
*fume*
Also, apparently Monique knows my ACT score. And she ranted because she didn't think I was smart enough to get that.
HOW DID SHE EVEN HEAR WHAT I GOT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!

Yeah. I'm feeling rant-y.
Blame stupid, math-loving, blackmailing Beenish.

Ever Ever After ~ Carrie Underwood

You know those weird moments, when you're so spazzy it's likely you're going to discover the key to teleportation and be on Mars?
Yeah. I'm really spazzed right now.
This is our SIXTH - count them now. SIX - snow day this year.
Which, magically, falls on the same day as a Kez test.
Uh-huh. 'Nuff said. XD

Wednesday, January 30, 2008

Sigh.
My killer-headache-of-do0m is back. Light hurts. Noise hurts. Movement hurts.
Don't be suprised if I don't show up tomorrow. I'll PROLLY be there.... But if this headache doesn't go away, there is no way in hell I am going to be there. I can barely stand my lamp being on, let alone that cursed place.
I reallly need to read the chapter for Kezm but that probqbly isn't going to happen. I'm serioulsy considering sleep.
Got MR3 in paperback today. Didn't know that would be out already. They did NOT have the next Wicked, however.

Hear Me Now ~ Boyce Avenue

:D Haven't updated in a long time...
Course, not much has been going on. Pretty much same old stuff.
Happy birthday, Ricel! Your party was fun.

But I had to come home and write an essay. Eww~~
Also, Mama bought me a magic tea/cocoa maker thing. I love her. A lot.
:3 Liz is supposed to be copying Phantom of the Opera music for me and Ricel and Ash and Jess. Which is nice. We're reading that in French now. All I have to say is that Raoul is a stalker, no matter how Jessica tries to defend him.

I gots Wyvernhail yesterday! *dances* It's my favorite in the series right now...
Umm... My party's this weekend... And it might get a little dangerous. o.o I mean, Ash is supposed to bring Sets, which is scary enough, and then we can have a huge air hockey tournament, too. :D It shall be fun.

I need to go read my history now...
And dry my hair....
There are few things I hate in this world as much as wet hair.

Light Up the Sky ~ Yellowcard

Eww lightning. :/
Back to school today didn't TOTALLY suck. Of course, home is 1000x better, but it could've been worse.
Band didn't change. Got a playing test tomorrow. Talk to me and I will probably fret to you.
Adv. Bio shall be fun. :3 Erin and I suck at logic.
Col. Alg. is Algebra. No big deal.
Got a 95 on my research paper~!! Along with most of the world, but STILL.
I also switched to third lunch. :/ Sorry, Bippy. Not my choice. But I have Jessi and now Kat, too. ^^
Also, Stausing moved me to Beenish's row, but seems to think that we are more likely to talk than Jessica Snow and Jonna Dudley. ((For the record, I now know that the guy JS is "kinda dating" may or may not have a girl pregnant. And JD's bf has a 2-yr.-old son))

AGH TRYOUTS MUST PRACTICE.
Even though I know I'm going to go in there, freeze, and screw up all my practicing.
It SUCKS to be me sometimes.

The Great Escape ~ Boys Like Girls

Did you know that waffles are make-Courtney-happy food?
Did you know that waffle is a funny word?
Did you know that Courtney is happy?

By the way, TGNH KILLS.

So Much Time ~ Boyce Avenue

HAPPY NEW YEAR! HAPPY 2008!

Dear Lancelot, my sorrows clad in silver~
Sigh. That song has been stuck in my head all day, and I can't find it anywhere. Not even on YouTube! *sigh* Stupid people who don't want me to have my Camelot fix...
And this desire has been caused directly by both Ranna and Ariel. Turns out Ariel had been wanting to read Avalon High forever. Funny, huh? I got in the car to go home from Jess's and she had Beenish's library copy with her. :P We both bought copies at Walmart yesterday. Two bucks cheaper than it would've cost at BAM, too!
:3 I tried semi-organizing my books yesterday, while Ariel was playing on Myspace. My Amelia Atwater-Rhodes books (minus Hawksong, BEENISH), Diana Wynne Jones books, and Max Ride got bumped off my first 'favorite books' shelf, 'cuz all of my Watase manga no longer fit on one shelf. In fact, two Ceres and all my Alice (Minus two, BEENISH) have migrated to the next one. And my Mugen Spiral. *COUGHCOUGHBEENISH* :3 Not that I'm complaining. Too many books is a good thing.
Ariel and I also got matching necklaces and earrings yesterday! They be stars. How pwetty.
And I also got socks that say 'a pirate's life for me'. ;)
I'm gonna be seventeen in twenty four days. O.O Wow. Beenish will come to my party or be deadified.
Sorry. This is all my pent-up randomness from yesterday and this morning.
Umm... I wrote a lot last night. :3 And I kept writing the time on the side of the paper, for some reason. So, it counts from about ten-thirty to midnight. Yes, Beenish, I wrote for an HOUR AND A HALF, just for you. If I decide to keep it.
Umm... We had waffles this morning. Everyone in the house. Seriously. And Mom took pictures. O.O It was scary.
Song changed! Kidnap the Sandy Claws.
More sorry. Kailey has a friend over, and I'm hiding up here. O.O It's pinata boy.
Ash has two of my Claidi Journals. *growl* And SOMEONE has my Wish, too. Not to say any more of the SAME NAME.
Yeah. This is one of my most random posts ever. Most of it is ranting at BEENISH. How odd~
I'm gonna leave now...
